Abstract: This course deals with issues related to the organization, functioning, protection of protected areas and objects, management, peculiarities of conducting scientific research within the nature reserve fund, basic principles of the concept of the European and national ecological network, conservation of biotic and landscape diversity, strategy and prospects for the development of reserve management, structure and classification of protected areas of the world and forms of international cooperation in the field of organization and management of protected areas. Attention is paid to the analysis of the current state of protection and use of the territories and objects of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine.
