Practical class № 3. Language at work. Present Simple and Continuous

Aim: to develop students’ ability to correctly use and distinguish between the Present Simple and the Present Continuous tenses in work-related contexts; to improve grammatical accuracy, speaking skills, and awareness of tense usage in professional communication.
Methodical recommendations: The lesson should be conducted using a communicative and learner-centred approach. Attention should be paid to contextual analysis of grammar forms through real-life workplace situations. Students should be encouraged to explain grammatical choices, work individually and collaboratively, and apply grammar rules in speaking tasks. Visual support and guided questions are recommended to facilitate understanding. Continuous feedback should be provided to ensure accuracy and confidence.
