Topic: Grammar revision
Aim: to revise and consolidate the use of the Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses, as well as different types of question forms, in professional communication.
Methodical recommendations:
- Review the form and use of Present Simple and Present Continuous in workplace contexts.
- Compare routine actions and temporary activities at work.
- Revise question forms (yes/no questions, wh-questions, subject/object questions).
- Practise through gap-fill, sentence transformation, and error correction tasks.
- Organize role-plays (meetings, interviews, daily work discussions).
- Provide feedback on grammatical accuracy and clarity in communication.

Form of presenting results on performed activities: written tasks are delivered by electronic files for further assessment.
Assessment criteria: 10 points
10 points – all written tasks are performed correctly, minor spelling mistakes are allowed, a student actively fulfills tasks in the class, the results of the completed tasks are submitted on time.
9 points – 80 – 90 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 20 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, a student actively fulfills tasks in the class, the results of the completed tasks are submitted on time.
8 points – 70 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 30 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, a student actively fulfills tasks in the class, the results of the completed tasks are submitted on time.
7 points – 60 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 40 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, a student actively fulfills tasks in the class, the results of the completed tasks are submitted on time.
6 points – 50 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 50 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, the results of the completed tasks are submitted on time.
5 points – 60 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 40 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, the results of the completed tasks are submitted with delay.
4 points – 50 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 50 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, the results of the completed tasks are submitted with delay.
3 points – 40 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 60 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, the results of the completed tasks are submitted with delay.
2 points – 30 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 70 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, the results of the completed tasks are submitted with delay.
1 point – 20 percent of written tasks are performed correctly, 80 percent of spelling and grammar mistakes are allowed, the results of the completed tasks are submitted with delay.
