The goal: is to study the economic essence of the concept of "international exchange activity" and to get acquainted with the functions of international commodity and stock exchanges.

Tasks:

Task 1). To consider the existing definitions of the concepts of "exchange", "stock exchange", "exchange trading", "organized market", "exchange market", in various sources.

Task 2). To analyze the stages of transformation of international exchange activity in the world and to build an organizational scheme of its evolution.

Interpretation of the concept of "international exchange activity".
How the concept of market changed with the change of the international economic system.
Views of famous economists on the definition of the economic essence of "exchange".
Functions of exchange activity.
Necessary conditions for the functioning of international exchanges.
Functions of the state in ensuring international exchange activity.
Comparison of the organized form and unorganized form of markets.
Functional purpose of international stock exchange activity in the agricultural sector.

Methodological recommendations:

Task 1). To perform task №1, information Internet resources are used.

Task 2). To perform task №2, information Internet resources are used. Students must graphically present an organizational model of evolutionary changes that have occurred on international stock markets in a time format in any form.

Evaluation criteria:

10 points - for a timely submitted and fully completed task with general conclusions and work design

8 points - for a timely submitted and fully completed task without design and conclusions or for an untimely submitted task that fully meets the requirements

1-7 points - for partial completion of the task (3.5 points for each fully completed task).

Deadline:

practical lesson 1 must be completed and submitted during the 1st and 2nd weeks of training.
