a particular way in which something is done, is organized, or happens.

the study of the methods and activities of teaching.

the process of someone reading, checking, and giving his or her opinion about something that has been written by another scientist or expert working in the same subject area, or a piece of work in which this is done.

1. any stage in a series of events or in a process of development.

1. the use of reason in understanding such things as the nature of the real world and existence, the use and limits of knowledge, and the principles of moral judgment.

2. a group of theories and ideas related to the understanding of a particular subject.

3. a particular system of beliefs, values, and principles.

4. the way that someone thinks about life and deals with it.
