Theme: Determination of the force in the belt (method of bypassing the contour). Calculation of the power of the conveyor drive.

Objective: to master the method of bypassing the contour (using the belt conveyor), to be able to apply it and calculate the power of the conveyor drive.

Methodical support: the Internet resources, handbooks (we may recommend those that attached to the e-learn platform), scientific publications, technical instructions, manuals etc.

Tasks:

1.      To study method of bypassing the contour and its application to the determination of the force in the belt;

2.      To study the calculation of the power of the belt conveyor drive.

The form of the completed report: one should send a report (a MS Word file, 1 line spacing; 14 pt, TimesNewRoman; formulas and schemes as well as an example of calculation are mandatory) via the e-learn platform. Each of the report must be defended.
