Course Description: The banking sector plays a key role in ensuring economic stability; therefore, knowledge and practical skills in banking are essential for training highly qualified professionals capable of working effectively in the modern environment of globalization and digitalization of financial services. The main aim of the educational component is to provide higher education students with a system of specialized knowledge and skills related to the development and current state of banking and to develop practical skills in conducting banking operations. The objectives of the course are to develop a comprehensive understanding of the essence and importance of the banking system in economic relations; to familiarize students with the theory of the functioning and development of the global banking system; to introduce the regulatory and legal framework and the specific features of bank operations in Ukraine; to provide knowledge of banking activities and major banking operations; to develop proficiency in banking operation technologies; and to provide practical experience in conducting banking operations using the B2 Automated Banking System.
