Abstract: The purpose of the discipline "Food Microbiology" for students’ specialty 181 Food Technologies is to provide a deep understanding of the biological processes associated with microorganisms that affect the production, storage, and safety of food products. The discipline "Food Microbiology" studies the types and properties of microorganisms that either contribute to or threaten product quality, examines microbiological processes during the storage and processing of food products, and also covers methods for controlling and preventing microbial contamination.
