Annotation: The purpose of the discipline is to reveal to students the general patterns of the emergence, development and completion of pathological phenomena in the animal body; to show with specific examples the importance of experimental research methods in the study of pathological phenomena; to help students learn the pathogenetic mechanisms of the development of diseases that manifest themselves in the animal body during their occurrence; to reveal the mechanisms of adaptation and compensation that are activated in the animal body during the development of pathological processes and injuries; to analyze an typical pathological phenomena and pathological phenomena that occur in various organs and systems of the animal body.
