Topic: Skills: Presenting your company
Aim: Students look at some advice for making presentations, listen to a presentation about a fashion company and do some practical assignments.
Меthods: Before listening read the two questions and make sure you understand them. Then read the text and try to predict what words might fill the gaps. Make notes, but not write out everything you are going to say.
Procedure:
Task A. Answer the following questions in writing.
What sort of presentation have you given? How did you feel?
Task B. Listen to the beginning of a presentation by Robert Pullin, Director of Human Resources at DCV Fashions, and anwer these questions.
1. What is the main aim of the presenter?
2. What kind of audience is he probably addressing?
Task C. Listen again and complete this paragraph.
